Ian Murrin - Managing Director

Ian has more than 15 years of business management experience, which encompasses line management positions in several Fortune 100 companies. Prior to setting up Digiterre he ran a successful technology consulting practice working with clients that included Hewlett Packard, Sony, Cable & Wireless and iDesk PLC, an early stage Internet support operation. His market knowledge spans retail and wholesale financial markets, as well as telecoms.  Within Digiterre Ian’s primary focus is on new business development and strategic relationships. Ian has a degree in Economics & Econometrics from Queens University, Canada.

  

Julian Webb - Chief Operating Officer 

At Digiterre Julian has responsibility for service delivery, product development and the operational management of the business. He also works closely with many of Digiterre’s hedge fund clients advising on how to create a robust and scalable technology and operational infrastructure to support their growing businesses.
Julian has spent most of his career working at the intersection of business and technology within the financial markets. He previously spent nine years with JPMorgan in London working in a variety of roles in both the technology and Global Markets business groups. His most recent role there was within Derivatives Research where he had responsibility for analytics and technology for the global short term interest rates business. Prior to joining Digiterre he spent a short period working in technology Venture Capital. Julian has an Engineering degree from Cambridge University and an MBA.

 

Martin Cheesbrough - CTO

Martin has 15 years experience in the IT industry and combines project and programme management skills with a strong technical background covering requirements analysis and specification, systems architecture and design, development and testing. He has lead multiple financial services industry projects. He is an expert in applying goal based techniques to analyse a business problem and translating this into a software design that can be delivered through series of short iterations, greatly increasing client visibility of progress made and ensuring the right solution is delivered. He has a 1st in Electronic Systems Engineering from Aston.
