Digiterre Opens in Düsseldorf: Strengthening Our Presence in Germany’s Energy Market 

Digiterre Germany is Open!

We’re incredibly proud to share that Digiterre has opened a new office in Düsseldorf. This is a significant step forward for us – not just geographically, but strategically. It signals our deepening commitment to our clients in Germany and our belief that building enduring, high-impact partnerships requires us to be present, engaged, and invested for the long term. 

We’re already working with some exceptional organisations across the German energy and utilities sector, many of whom are navigating a period of accelerated change. The energy transition, increased regulatory pressures, and the growing complexity of commodity markets are creating new demands on their technology estates and data infrastructure. We see firsthand how legacy monolith systems are reaching their limits. They weren’t built for today’s load profiles, the scale of data now required, or the kind of agility that modern portfolio optimisation and risk modelling depend on.

Another exciting dimension to this expansion is the AI capability we’re now able to bring to the table through our parent company, Ascendion. We’re already exploring how to apply GenAI and agentic systems across the trading lifecycle, whether that’s automating key parts of operational workflows, enabling more effective risk scenario modelling, or creating intelligent tools that can augment engineering teams. We are being deliberate and strategic in how we approach this, ensuring we match innovation with real value. 

For me personally, opening this office also means spending more time in the region. I’m looking forward to being closer to the teams and people we work with and building new relationships with those who are yet to see what Digiterre can offer. This isn’t a marketing gesture. It’s a genuine investment in proximity, trust, and long-term partnership.
