Spotlight Series: Jai Morjaria

Tell us about your role at Digiterre and how you work with the team.

My role as a Senior PMO is a multifaceted role that sits at the intersection of operations and day-to-day project execution. I work closely with cross-functional teams, offering guidance, using data insights to drive decision-making and improvements to how we work, and supporting the successful delivery of projects and initiatives. Working with the delivery leads, we are the go-to people for everything involving a project’s administration with a focus on preparing quotes, generating SOWs, and responding to RFPs.

What was it about the role and or Digiterre that persuaded you to join?

Autonomy and flexibility of the role, if you want to make a process improvement then you would be empowered to do so. I felt like my opinions and ideas would be listened to and there was a good team spirit, evident even at selection stage.

What does a typical day look like for you?

No day is the same. I love the variety of tasks and projects that I’m involved in.

Is there anything you’re working on at the moment that inspires or excites you?

The continued development of the Lead to Invoice process and moving into a more operational role is a very exciting prospect.

What has been a highlight of working with Digiterre?

Working with Digiterre has been a series of highlights. For me, one thing that really stands out has been witnessing the levels of commitment shown by the Digiterre team. It makes me very proud to be part of an organisation that is so clearly dedicated to delivering quality solutions. It’s not just a promise but a guiding principle for everyone here.

I’ve been consistently impressed with the team’s innovative approach to problem-solving. Digiterre’s ability to adapt to evolving challenges and provide cutting-edge solutions has been instrumental in the success of our projects. And that’s down to the quality of people who work here.

The collaborative spirit within the team has been another highlight. It’s great to work with a group of professionals who excel individually and enjoy working together well as a tight-knit team.

How would you describe the culture at Digiterre?

The way I would describe the culture at Digiterre is driven to a large extent by our values of care, quality, and leadership. We are a friendly and approachable team where everyone feels valued for their unique contribution.

Has anything surprised you about working here?

One of the best surprises for me since joining the team has been the genuine sense of camaraderie and collaboration. The culture is very supportive and inclusive which made onboarding to my role much smoother. I feel inspired every day to be part of a workplace where everyone is dedicated to each other’s success, where people have a positive mindset and I look forward to continuing to contribute and grow within this fantastic team.

What do you believe our clients gain from working with us?

Our clients experience a whole lot of benefits that really set us apart from our competitors. Firstly, they gain access to a team of technology experts with deep domain experience, so they understand their business context; we’ve been working in our sectors of energy and commodities trading and financial markets for 24 years. Secondly, we are part of the Collabera Digital Group and this allows our clients to scale their projects using resources and services from around the globe. The ability to scale has not however diminished the quality of service we provide, fostering a sense of partnership and trust. Quality at scale – that’s what our clients gain.

Which other teams do you work with at Digiterre?

As this is a cross-functional role, I have the opportunity to work with all other teams. It’s an aspect of my job that I really enjoy!
